Why Professional Product Photography Works

You probably already know this, but it’s getting harder and harder to keep your customer’s attention. There are so many options of how to find a business these days – Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, and yes even your own website – that it is becoming more and more of a challenge to gain new customers. It doesn’t help that recent studies show visitors likely spend less than 15 secs on your website before deciding they are not interested. YES, 15 seconds – and that’s the average, which means people may likely spend LESS time browsing your website before you lose them as a customer for good.

Here’s what I know.

It’s an age old fact, but people are inherently drawn to images (I’ve got a Phd in the subject – ask me about it if you want, I’ll talk your ear off for hours). Better yet, don’t take my word for it. Check out this recent advertising study which proves the point and how this is even more so the case with millennial customers. The truth is: companies who use compelling images of their products and services are more likely to be successful in the current market. What does this mean? Your customer is looking for information about your business, and they want to like what they SEE. They want to visually TASTE, SMELL, TRY ON, BRAG TO THEIR FRIENDS ON INSTAGRAM about YOUR product, more so than they want to read a description about it. It's just that simple.

Which leads me to another point…Striking visual images are shareable.

If your active on Facebook or Instagram or other social media sites, you know how important shareable images are for promoting your brand. Here’s where I come in. You’ve got a business to run, so let me help you with taking photos that you can easily share and promote online to show the world just how AWESOME your product is and why your customers NEED to have it.
